Google My Business Rebrands as Google Business Profile

Google Business Profile will be the new name going forward for Google My Business. Google said the new name is to “keep things simple,” and sometime in 2022, Google will retire the Google My Business app completely.
What's different about Google Business Profiles now?
The owner of a listing can just type their business name into Google Search or type my business to manage it. After that, they'll be presented with the following control panel:
What are the new features included?
- Claim and verify the listing
- Receive and send messages from customers
- Managing reviews and Q&As
- The ability to track inbound calls that come from a Google Business Profile (officially launching in the US and Canada)
How do you manage your Google Business Profile?
In Google Search or Google Maps, you can search for your business name or search for "my business" in Google Search to see the business you have claimed and verified.
